Forgiveness and Attachment Injury Repair

In-Person Attachment Injury Resoution Model Training (12 NBCC CE hours)

unhappy couple

Have you ever wondered how to work with clients who enter therapy in the midst of discovering a betrayal? Or what to do with clients who refuse to discuss an old injury because it is too painful and could destroy the last threads of hope?

Broken trust is one of the most common reasons clients seek relationship counselling. It can also present many challenges for therapists working with clients on the healing process.

We hope you will join us for this indispensable EFT training that will increase your confidence and competence in facilitating healing conversations with your clients.

Pre-requisite: EFT Externship

Lorrie Brubacher M.Ed., LMFT, RMFT

Lorrie is highly skilled and experienced at delivering online training locally and internationally, and this training has been extremely well received. Sessions will include an in-depth overview of EFT’s Attachment Injury Resolution Model (AIRM) for repairing shattered attachment bonds. Video excerpts of Lorrie facilitating AIRM with clients, experiential exercises, and the use of breakout rooms to enhance our connectivity.

Following the webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Cleary define an “Attachment Injury” and recognize markers of a relationship/attachment injury, blocking a couple from safe connection.
  2. Explicitly track and validate an Attachment Injury in the negative cycle in Stage 1.
  3. Prepare a couple for the Stage 2 Attachment Injury Resolution Process
  4. Apply the EFT tango and EFT interventions for each step in the Attachment Injury Resolution Model.
To benefit from this training, you will have completed the EFCT Externship.
