Individual Counselling for Relationship Problems
There are times that counselling is best done by yourself: Sometimes the person that you experience as the core of your problem has died or left you or is not able or willing to come to therapy with you. We can work together to resolve the pain and grief resulting from broken relationships or current relationships that are having difficulties. You can find a new lease on life again in spite of your enormous pain and loss!
For examples of how I work with relationship concerns when only one person is in the therapy room, see the case examples in my paper published in 2006 in Journal of Marital and Family Therapy.
Individual Counselling for Other Problems
In addition to working with people who are having relationship problems, I have helped hundreds of people to triumph over adversity in their lives. I have successfully provided counselling to people who have experienced issues of depression, anxiety, loss, grief, stresses of change and turmoil of family and work-related changes and traumas. Many people have replaced negative ways of dealing with difficult circumstances with life-giving alternatives. They have rediscovered how to tap into the source of growth and love with which they had lost contact. And you can too!
