The 4-Day Externship is the first step towards certification as an Emotionally Focused Couple Therapist.

Presenting is Lorrie Brubacher, Founding Director of the Carolina Center for EFT. A certified trainer with the International Centre for Excellence in EFT (ICEEFT), she has been an individual, couple and family therapist since 1989. An adjunct at University of North Carolina, Greensboro, Lorrie trains internationally and publishes on the topic of EFT, and EFIT specifically. She co-developed EFT’s first inter-active video training program on the EFT Attachment Injury Resolution Model and has many EFT couple and individual training videos available at at http://steppingintoeft.com. Her book Stepping into Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy: Key Ingredients of Change (2018), available in seven languages, has been called “an amazing book! … a must-read for anyone interested in learning EFT!” – Scott R. Woolley, Ph.D., Alliant International University.

Prerequisite:
To take this training you must have the training and educational qualifications to legally practice as a professional mental health practitioner or be in formal training to be a professional mental health practitioner.

Equity Rate

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations subject to a $75 administration fee and must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the first session to qualify for a refund of the balance paid. If you cancel with less than 14 days notice, but before the course begins you will be refunded 50%. If you cancel after a course has begun, there will be no refund. In the event a course is cancelled due to low registration, a refund will be issued in the full amount paid.
Lorrie L. Brubacher has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6488. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. She is solely responsible for all aspects of this program.
